Our 250 hour massage technician training program meets both the local City of Santa Barbara business license requirements, as well as, the State of California's new requirements to be a Certified Massage Practitioner and it does this ALL IN ONE CLASS!
Our 250-hour program offers the prospective student an opportunity
to explore and experience the synergy that occurs when the art
of Swedish massage is blended with a grounded approach to the
connections between the body, mind and spirit. Students will
receive thorough training in the essentials of massage. In addition
to traditional Swedish techniques, this introductory review focuses
on musculoskeletal anatomy, movement skills, sound body mechanics,
ethics, business and communication skills. Supervised clinics
and personalized coaching assistance support each individual's
learning process. A nature retreat is included in the curriculum
to help expose students to new perspectives and develop heightened
sensory awareness. Participation in community outreach activities
round out the requirements for completion of the program. You
will find that we offer both the lowest student/teacher ratios
and the highest percentage of actual classroom and supervised
hours required for certification. We feel that this makes us
uniquely qualified to provide you with the highest quality education
available.
